Eugenie Russo

Eugenie Russo is an American-born pianist living and working in Vienna, Austria.

Biografie

Konzertfach Diplom bei Hans Graf an der Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien. Eugenie Russo war von 1991 bis 2010 Professorin und Abteilungsleiterin für Klavier am Josef Matthias Hauer Konservatorium der Stadt Wiener Neustadt. Sie ist  Professorin an der Vienna International Pianists Academy in Wien, Jurorin u.a. bei der Internationale Rosario Marciano Wettbewerb in Wien. Zahlreiche Konzerte, Meister Kurse, Rundfunk und Fernsehaufnahmen in Europa, Asien und der USA, 2014 tratt sie als Solist beim International Musik Festival in Harbin, China auf.

Biography

Eugenie Russo, a former State of Virginia Artist in Residence has toured internationally as a soloist on behalf of the US State Department and Austrian Foreign Ministry. Eugenie Russo graduated from the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria. Her teachers have included Hans Graf and Elisabeth Leonskaja. Ms. Russo has performed, recorded for television and radio and taught master classes throughout Asia, Europe and the United States. She has performed in many international festivals and in Capella Hall in St Petersburg, Grosser Musikvereinsaal in Vienna, Leighton Hall in London and Carnegie Recital Hall in New York. She was head of the Piano Department at the Josef Matthias Hauer Conservatory in Austria from 1991-2010 and is a professor at the Vienna International Pianists Summer Academy since 1997 http://www.pianists.at/
